    Biography:

    The Shifters are here to get your party moving in the right direction! This infectious pop and rock group bring an unforgettable live music experience to your event with their huge range of genres and crowd-pleasing repertoire.

    The Shifters are a magnificent 6-piece band from South Glamorgan who deliver stunning female and male lead vocals and backing vocals, bopping trumpet, tight drum beats, smooth bass and dazzling guitar. The band play classic or modern pop, soul, and funk, indie pop and rock, blues and jazz, hard rock and even ska to really suit guests of all tastes.

    Every guest will be partying with style and substance. The Shifters don't use any backing tracks - this is an entirely live band, and every note you hear will be pure talent right on the stage!

    With over 100 incredible songs from the ages, The Shifters have a diverse repertoire from which you can tailor your evening's entertainment. Whether it's classic 50s tunes from Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry, the sounds of the 60s like The Beatles or James Brown, some funky 70s style by The Jackson 5 or Stevie Wonder, or the most exciting pop tunes from the 80s to the modern day with covers of Queen, Robbie Williams, Stereophonics, Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift to name but a few, The Shifters will take you through the decades with unbeatable energetic covers!

    Booking The Shifters guarantees you a playlist DJ service as standard to keep the music flowing non-stop. For the ultimate party, why not upgrade to a fully manned pro DJ service with mixing decks? The band will even perform your first dance for free and will also provide their own PA and lighting, meaning you don't need to worry about organising any of the equipment on the big day.

    The Shifters are able to cater their performance to your tastes: as well as their standard 6-piece of male and female lead vocals, trumpets, drums, bass and guitar, they offer a 3-piece with male vocals and bass, guitar, and drums; 4 and 5-piece line-ups in a variety of permutations (see add-ons below); and a 7-piece band with added percussion.
