With a vibrant 3-piece horn section, powerful vocals and experienced instrumentalists, this band will blow you away with their sass, talent and personality.
These thrilling young musicians met whilst studying at university and have been performing together ever since. What started out as a group of friends performing at casual jam nights, quickly grew into The Octatonics becoming one of the top function bands in Bristol. Since then they have performed at hundreds of weddings, private parties and corporate events across the country, packing out dance floors and thrilling guests of all ages.
With many of the band's members being music graduates, it's not surprising that they take a creative approach to music, rejuvenating classic songs by adding their own unique spin. The band also happen to be great mates, and their close friendships and clear love and passion for performing shine through when these incredible musicians are performing, their enthusiasm and infectious energy taking centre stage.
Coming as an 8-piece as standard, The Octatonics consists of stunning female lead vocals, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, electric guitar, electric bass, drums and keys. Their versatile line-up means they can perform in a range of styles and can cover jazz standards through to funk, soul and Motown covers. For a sophisticated accompaniment to dinner, The Octatonics can perform a 4-piece jazz band set for an additional fee.
The Octatonics supply a playlist DJ service for in-between and after their performances and provide all the PA and lighting they need for the night; they can even supply a smoke machine if you wish. To ensure their show is personal to you they will learn a special request or first dance song free of charge and are also happy to dress however the client and event requires!
