    The Moy
    Biography:

If you're looking for a vibrant band for your drinks reception who'll deliver the unmatched magic of Irish music fused with the perfect mix of rock and pop covers - all performed with an irresistible Irish twist, you'll love The Moy!

This energetic trio combine the warm and uplifting tones of two acoustic guitars with the impeccable fiddle skills of their incredibly talented violinist. The ideal accompaniment to your lively daytime celebrations, The Moy know how to create a feel-good vibe reminiscent of a foot-stomping afternoon on the Emerald Isle. If you want the fun to continue into the night, or even the early hours of the morning (they're available until 1am), you can hire them with a PA and manned DJ service - a sure-fire way to treat your guests to an evening they'll never forget.

The Moy have been playing together for over 15 years and the two guitarists have been performing since they were able to speak - hardly surprising when you learn that they are Elvis Costello's brothers and the sons of Ross MacManus, known for his time with the Joe Loss Orchestra and also the voice of the famous R Whites Lemonade advert song "Secret Lemonade Drinker!"

The band have performed live on Fox TV, Sky Sports, ITV, The One Show and extensively throughout Europe and the USA. They've played on the pitches of Celtic Park on numerous Champions League nights, Twickenham Stadium for the Heineken Cup Finals and for many years at London Irish Rugby Club. Festival appearances include the world-famous Glastonbury and they've supported former Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon and his band Public Image Ltd at London's O2 on several occasions as well as The Cranberries, Thin Lizzy, The Sawdoctors, Christy Moore and American punk band The Dropkick Murphys. On top of this they've also recorded with Russell Crowe, Elvis Costello and Shane MacGowan to name but a few! This musical pedigree and extensive experience means that their performance is absolutely top-notch and guaranteed to have the audience hooked.

For an extra special touch, The Moy are happy to learn not one but two requests for you to help make your day totally unforgettable. Lighting is included in the price of your booking and a PA for larger venues and your evening reception are available as an upgrade.

Get into the party spirit and make sure the craic is top-notch at your event when you hire The Moy!

"The Moy are aways a pleasure to work with, not just as performers but as a creative mind. Over the many years we have worked together he has been a firm favourite with supporters, whether performing solo or with one of his bands. The essence of the Irish in London."
Kelly - London Irish RFC - Corporate Client
"We were recommended The Moy and everything from time of booking to the wedding day was very smooth. The band were BRILLIANT, the dance floor didn't have one second where it was empty. They really made the night and we have had so many people asking who they are and telling us how amazing they were. Would HIGHLY recommend and will certainly be booking them again!"
    Christine - Wedding
"Having honed his talent over the past 4 decades, they have the talent and charisma to seduce any crowd with their outstanding sets ranging from old school to new material and classic folk to their own twist on indie rock. Have booked multiple times before and many more to come!"
Rob Henderson - Ex-Professional Rugby Player
"Having followed and loved the band for many years they were an obvious choice for our wedding band! The boys always put on such a great show and I have to say they truly got the party started at our wedding! They played a huge variety in music and there was something for everyone. The dancefloor was packed, everyone had a great time and i've even had a few future brides ask for their contact details! As always you did not disappoint, thanks for being such a huge part of our day!"
