    Biography:

    The Groove are a fresh and stylish 4 piece live wedding band based in Surrey, playing all of your favourite classics, right the way through to modern hits, ensuring that all your guests will be on the dance floor all night long!

    Having met studying music at the Academy of Contemporary Music, The Groove became a unit in 2010. This lively and dynamic band have collectively played shows around the world and are established performers in their own right. Performances include appearances on festival stages such as Reading, Beach Break and Boogie Brain Festival in Poland, plus international shows in Milan, Dubai, Osla and Munich. They've also graced the stage alongside well-known acts like Bastille and Roy Ayers and worked with Formula One, Emirates, Time Out and BFI. You can't deny that The Groove have mastered the ability to bring the party!

    The Groove tailor their music to suit your event, and their repertoire enables them to not only make your party rock and have everyone on a high, but also to create a more sophisticated, jazzy atmosphere if required. They are dedicated to creating a bespoke package for your occasion to personalise your day. Why not add a keyboard player for your event to make them a funky 5 piece for the night?

    Arriving at your venue fully self-contained with high quality PA and lighting, you will have nothing to worry about apart from finding comfortable dancing shoes! An iPod playlist will be played for your guests between their live sets.

The build up to our wedding day was very easy and hassle free, Charlotte was very helpful in the planning stages and the band were very accommodating with song choices and times which allowed us to have the flexibility we were hoping for! The band had a great energy and really set the evening off well. I have had multiple people ask me for the bands name, which I think is a good sign! Their repertoire is large which means there should be something for everyone and they seemed like lovely people. We'd be happy to hire them again!"

    "The Groove were fantastic. They were in touch well before the wedding day so came across professional and well organised. On the day they played a great variety of songs and included all the songs we asked them to play. We gave them a special request to play which was a Christmas song and they told me afterwards they only rehearsed it for an hour. It was probably the best song they played all night, it went down an absolute treat with the crowd. The dance floor was packed from the moment they started to their final song. I would recommend them to anyone, they know how to get a party going. Thank you to the Groove for help making the evening reception so enjoyable!"

    "We couldn't have asked for a better band to help us celebrate our new marriage. Their playlist suited the atmosphere and the dance floor was never empty, they even inspired one of the bridesmaids to crowd surf! The Groove fully accommodated our first dance request, even changing the tempo of the song for us. Since the wedding I have been asked by many people if we personally knew the band as they performance was friendly, perfectly fitting for us and full of great music to dance the night away to. I have also been asked for their details from a few people as they were impressed. The Groove were a highlight of the night for many of our evening guests and for us they were they the perfect band to top off an amazing day. They interacted with the guests and everyone from our 4 and 6 year old nieces to our 70 year old grandparents were entertained. Thank you! They will now be the first band I mention to anyone when they ask for recommendations and I am now looking for a excuse to have a party to hire them again!"
