Perfect Times dish up exactly what it says on the tin! They will treat you to an inspired and unique collection of the best-loved songs from the last 100 years; right from classic 1930s swing through ratpack hits to naughties pop. Add to this some magical Motown, a little rock 'n' roll, a sprinkle of soul, and even some Disney classics!
You can expect to hear lively renditions of hits from the likes of Duke Ellington, Queen, Peggy Lee, Paulo Nutini, Fleetwood Mac and the Monkees - all woven together by their distinct swingin' sound.
Perfect Times is made up of five seasoned musicians; a fabulous female vocalist, tenor saxophonist, pianist, double bassist and drummer (who also offers backing vocals). Having played together (all for the love of jazz!), for several years, they officially formed in 2017. It was a natural move for them when they realised just how much fun they had playing pop tunes together, in what is now their own recognisable upbeat swingin' vintage style!
Swing is not only bang on trend right now, but is a sure hit with family and friends alike. Perfect Times have curated set lists with everyone in mind from great aunts to flossing kids and gaming teens (believe it or not, swing is huge in gaming!). So the evening is clearly in hand, but how about something a little gentler for the daytime? Perfect Times offer the option to have a solo pianist set or jazz trio for your ceremony or reception drinks. They even offer an early set up free of charge to make sure your meal goes uninterrupted, or a late finish at an additional charge if you want to make the moment last...they always have your overall experience in mind.
Perfect Times come kitted out with their own professional PA and lighting system, and include a playlist DJ service, with requests in advance welcomed. As always, these charmers go one step further for you as they invite you to take advantage of free use of their PA system to play your own playlist, so you get to make the most of the carefully put together 'wish list' you've been working on and hear exactly what you want, all night long!
