The line-up consists of a phenomenal sax player who also DJs, plus rhythmical textures from one of the UK's most sought after percussionists. Over the course of the evening these incredible musicians will not only add excitement to the tracks you love, but will also get out onto the dance floor and play amongst the crowd (including the drummer on a djembe drum!) They are experts at reading the room and dropping the perfect tune to keep the party alive all night long.
This versatile, passionate duo are happy to perform to almost any style of music, which can be specifically tailored to your requirements. Example genres for the perfect party include house, disco, pop, soul, funk, reggae/ska, salsa and most Latin and Brazilian styles of music. You can see why Orbitar's impressive mixes of classics such as Don't Call Me Baby by Madison Avenue, to Feel My Needs by Weiss are executed with such finesse. They have performed for the prestigious Cafe Mambo, Hedkandi and have even provided the entertainment for Formula 1 Grand Prix in Silverstone and Bahrain. Individually, members are session players who have played for a number of international artists including Karen Harding, Pixie Lott, Leona Lewis and have even supported Olly Murs, Beverly Knight, Jess Glynn and Gary Barlow.
Orbitar are available for hire in the Midlands and South England, and have three packages available to suit your needs. They are able to provide the music for your evening reception, the drinks reception and evening party, or even for the whole day (ceremony, drinks, wedding breakfast and evening). The drinks reception package offers you the choice of upbeat percussion and/or sax, or a cool and sophisticated jazz duo of sax and drums with backing piano and bass. Whichever mood you'd like to create, Orbitar have you covered! In the evening, they crank up the volume for an exhilarating party experience!
The duo will learn up to 3 special requests and a fully PAT tested PA/lighting system is included with your booking.
