For two fabulous 45 minute sets of full-on folk music, Celtic Fury will perform songs by The Waterboys, Johnny Cash, The Dubliners, The Pogues, and many more! The lads and lasses at your event will be jigging away to Irish classics like The star of County Down, Jenny Riley, Billy comes of age, Galway girl and a whole lucky-line-up of Irish Jigs.
The 5-piece line-up, all adorned in waist-coat and jackets, are lead by an exceptional male vocalist with a recognisable Irish tone, and boasts of some seriously skilled multi-instrumentalists playing guitar, mandolin, cajon, drums, double bass and keyboards. The recognisably-regional sounds of the Bodhran (Irish frame drum) and piano-accordion give this act a truly immersive quality.
Celtic Fury is made-up of seasoned musicians with a wealth of experience who were drawn together by a genuine love of Celtic music. They are regulars at Glastonbury, and playing live is in their DNA!
