Pro Freestyle Football In The Spotlight

Last Updated: 28th October 2021

We had a chat with one of the star performers on our books, the one and only Pro Freestyle Football. This sensational talent has travelled the world showing off his skills and is the perfect choice to deliver a man-of-the-match performance at corporate events of all varieties. Read on to discover more about this world-class entertainer:

Who is Pro Freestyle Football?

“I am a freestyle football entertainer, from Birmingham, UK. Freestyle football is a sport/art form, where you can express yourself by performing tricks with all parts of the body. I perform at all kinds of events, ranging from parties, corporate events, adverts, and I also love to teach my tricks, so I do a lot of workshops too.”

When did you first realise you were good at freestyle football?

“No one is ever naturally good at freestyle at first, it is all about practise and dedication, starting off with the basics, such as juggling, then constantly progressing with harder tricks, and eventually after years of practice, which I was just doing for fun, I realised that I had built up a good enough set of tricks to put together a routine, turned professional and made my living from freestyle!”

Who are your freestyle football influences?

“I started freestyle football after coming across an old video of another freestyle footballer years back. I went into my garden and wanted to do exactly what he did! I got addicted to the buzz of getting new tricks and just took the ball wherever I went.”

What’s your proudest freestyle football achievement?

“I think my proudest personal achievement was becoming best in the world, setting a new freestyle football Guinness World Record.”

Where’s the coolest place you’ve performed?

“I’d say performing at the Champions League Final in Kiev alongside some top celebs such as Dua Lipa and Gary Lineker- That was an unforgettable experience that still gives me goosebumps.”

What’s the best thing about being a pro freestyle footballer?

“I feel very grateful that I can travel the world doing a job that I really enjoy, and inspiring kids along the way.”

And what’s the worst?

“There aren’t many significant drawbacks but it can sometimes be hard to plan stuff like finances, as it is not like a standard job where you receive a fixed salary and know how much you’ll earn that year.”

What’s the weirdest thing that’s happened to you at an event?

“I was performing at a charity event in a busy street in Birmingham, and someone kicked my ball away. A freestyle footballer without a football from that point on is a bit useless haha. I had to go to a shop to buy a new one!”

What would you do for a living if you weren’t a freestyle footballer?

“I’m not sure haha, maybe I would have gone to university to study criminology or philosophy, I was always quite interested in that stuff, or set up another business, not too sure. Perhaps I even will in the future, but right now I’m fully focused on what’s in front of me.”

Finally, who do you support?

“Personally, I don’t support a football team, as I’m more interested in freestyle than football! I watch England when I get a chance though.”
