Many congratulations to all the newly engaged couples. I was reading (it may well be nonsense) that over 30% of all UK wedding proposals take place on Christmas eve which seems like a staggering amount, but would make a lot of sense and explain the crazy start of the year Wedding Entertainment rush that is currently, and annually takes place!

Back to the blog; as soon as the 1st of January strikes we hit full throttle with bookings of Wedding Bands, Wedding String Quartets, Wedding Singers, Wedding Harpists, you name it, Wedding Entertainment gets booked, and fast!
As a quick rule of thumb, if you are booking for the coming year and your wedding is taking place on a Friday or Saturday, please drop us a line as soon as possible. The diary is rapidly filling up with many acts booked every weekend throughout the year already. If not a Friday or Saturday, we’d still advise getting in touch as soon as possible, as midweek and Sunday weddings are becoming very much more of a standard, meaning acts are also busier during these times too!
We really don’t enjoy having to tell a couple that the band they have fallen in love with and wanted to hire have just been booked by another couple and just wish the favourite acts had doubles so we could please many more of you.
We love seeing the entire process through. From initial hunting for entertainment, then to securing the act, to getting all details sorted, to then seeing and hearing about the big day! Reading 5 star reviews could not make us happier, at which point we sign off 🙂
