“Finally”! The word that resonates with so many couples when they tie the knot, but even more so with Emma and Mark.
These two waited a long time to become Mr and Mrs, and it feels so good to say they did it with a gorgeous autumnal wedding.
Emma and Mark had a neutral, rustic vision for their magical day, with fairy lights, white and green florals and foliage, wooden features, and a soft pastel pink accent to highlight the blush tones of Emma’s gown.
Celebrating with family and friends who’ve travelled far and wide to share this special moment, you can clearly see from the smiles on faces that it was a day to remember and one they won’t be forgetting in a hurry!

The Wedding:
Glam team at the ready, Emma and her bride squad got ready together, dressed in elegant, matching PJs and dressing gowns.
Emma’s dress had an intricate body of stunning lace detail, adorned with silver beading. The full-netted skirt is the real show-stopper, with beautiful pearly flowers cascading down from the waist, leading down and covering the bottom of the gown with a mass of textured petals and diamante detail.
The Ceremony:
Even with a little bit of drizzle on the way to the ceremony (which is good luck on your wedding day, by the way!), Emma smiled all the way up the aisle with her mother on her arm.
As soon as Emma and Mark locked eyes, everyone else melted away into the distance and it was just the two of them, ready to become man and wife. With smiles from ear to ear and a roar of applause, it finally happened.
Emma and Mark walked back up the aisle through a wall of confetti, taking their first steps as Mr and Mrs.
The Venue:
Emma and Mark got married at the stunning Shustoke Barn in Warwickshire. The venue boasts a red-brick, cosy barn feeling with natural light, angled ceilings and unique windows. It’s the perfect setting for a wedding.
Their wedding decor was minimalist but elegant, with accents of pink and wood to match the darker brick interior of the venue.
And can we just say… we are a huge fan of the drinks reception doughnuts idea. A definite hit at Emma and Mark’s wedding we’re sure!
The Evening Reception:
Their celebrations turned into a fabulous night complete with exceptional music from The Footmen. When they started their search for a wedding band for their wedding in Warwickshire, The Footmen were their first choice. As you can see by the following photos, beautifully captured by Mark Horton, everyone was dancing, singing and feeling amazing, and so they should.
The Footmen are a folky, feel-good trio who were a highlight of Emma and Mark’s evening. The band are pros at injecting a party-inducing bounce, inviting guests of all ages to the dance floor and keeping them there.
The Review:
“Just a note to say a huge thank you to The Footmen for playing our wedding in October. We have received so many compliments about the band and how they kept our guests dancing all night long. Finding a great band was really important to us and The Footmen did not disappoint! We would recommend them to anybody else looking for a band for their wedding or any other event! Thanks again”
